How it is built

An ad creative is a claim with a picture attached. The skeleton is a headline zone, a product or offer, a visual metaphor that makes the claim feel true, and a logo lockup that stays readable at thumbnail size. What you change most is the hook (price, benefit, urgency), the supporting scene, and the hierarchy between type and image. Leave legal lines, disclaimers, and brand colors as slots you fill last, not as decoration the model can restyle. Camera angle should serve the product, not the vibe. If type becomes texture, if the logo melts into the scene, or if the metaphor needs a paragraph to explain, the ad will not convert. Design for a three-second glance, then a five-second read.

Watch-outs

  1. 01Put the claim in words. A vibe without a headline is not an ad.
  2. 02Reserve a quiet lockup for the logo; do not let it live inside the photo.
  3. 03Keep disclaimers as a slot. Models turn legal type into decoration.
  4. 04If the metaphor needs explaining, it will fail in a feed thumbnail.
